Hobsons Bay City Council’s Recycling 2.0 app.
The Recycling 2.0 app supports Hobsons Bay residents to make it easier to reduce rubbish, sort recycling and organics to reduce what goes to landfill.
The service redirects waste from landfill into local recycling streams, using more of our existing resources and reducing what goes to landfill.
FEATURES:
Personalised Bin Schedule: Enter your address to find out which bins to put out when, with an option to set a timed bin collection reminder.
Search ‘Which bin does this go in?’: Enter a household item to check which bin it goes in and information about additional recycling options, where available.
Newsfeed: Keep updated, and turn on notifications to receive messages about service updates, disruptions and news.
Tips & Stats: See how the Recycling 2.0 service is performing and find useful tips to make recycling easier.
Quiz: Test your know-how with recycling and Council’s four-bin system.
Provide feedback: Residents can submit issues or suggestions.
